Empowering Human Rights and Social Justice

Championing Human Rights for All

Dedicated to protecting fundamental freedoms and promoting social justice for all individuals, we strive to combat injustice and inequality through our unwavering commitment to human rights work. Fighting for human rights involves advocating for equality, justice, and the protection of fundamental freedoms for all people, regardless of background. It seeks to challenge oppression, discrimination, and violations of dignity through legal, social action.

Human Rights Advocacy

Promoting justice, equality, and dignity for all individuals through education and awareness initiatives.

Human Rights

Every individual has the right to live and be free from arbitrary harm. This includes protection from violence, torture, or any form of inhumane or degrading treatment. All individuals are equal before the law and are entitled to the same protection and rights, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or other characteristics.

Education

Education equips individuals with the necessary tools to navigate through life, make informed decisions, and contribute positively to society. Everyone has the right to access education and to participate in cultural, scientific, and intellectual life. Education is fundamental for the exercise of other human rights.

By embracing the values of peace, justice, and equality, we can work together to address the root causes of conflict and build a more sustainable future for generations to come. Human rights and peace are inseparably linked, as peace can only be achieved when the dignity, freedom, and equality of all individuals are respected

Stand & Fight Together For Human Rights

Your actions could help bring justice to riot survivors, hold corporates accountable, empower marginalised communities, change laws to stop violence against women, or release people who have been jailed just for speaking out. So take action today, and help protect people’s human rights across the country.

What are human rights?

Human rights are inherent to us all, regardless of nationality, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, language, or any other status...

Universal and inalienable

Human rights are inalienable. They should not be taken away, except in specific situations and according to due process. For example, the right to liberty may be restricted if a person is found guilty of a crime by a court of law.

Equal and non-discriminatory

Article 1 of the UDHR states: “All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights.” Freedom from discrimination, set out in Article 2, is what ensures this equality.

Non-discrimination cuts across all international human rights law. This principle is present in all major human rights treaties. All States have ratified at least 1 of the 9 core human rights treaties, as well as 1 of the 9 optional protocols. Eighty per cent of States have ratified 4 or more.
